It’s starting to feel like fall in Greater Philadelphia — and there are plenty of ways to celebrate the season throughout the region this week and weekend.
Kicking off this week: Halloween-themed mini golf (Franklin Square), spooky live science shows (The Franklin Institute) and celebrations of the most colorful season (Longwood Gardens). Plus, Peddler’s Village, Shady Brook Farm and Linvilla Orchards all continue their fall countryside festivals.
Arts and culture fans, take note: The Philadelphia Musem of Art opens its absolutely blockbuster Jasper Johns exhibition (in conjunction with the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York) on Wednesday. And the Walnut Street Theatre throws open the curtain for BEEHIVE – The ’60s Musical beginning Thursday.
Also up this week: Delco Arts Week, the Revolutionary Germantown Festival, Mural Arts Month programming, Union and Eagles games, and the last chance for Fringe Festival performances and Center City District Restaurant Week.
